In some ministries and agencies, the Federal Civil Service Commission of Nigeria (FCSC) has begun recruitment, encouraging all unemployed Nigerians with the necessary qualifications to apply online. The Federal Ministry of Media, Federal Ministry of Environment, Federal Ministry of Justice, Federal Ministry of Trade and Investments, and Bureau of Public Procurement are among the ministries with vacancies, according to a notice released by the commission on Thursday. The Commission has confirmed that the form of work is full-time and is for graduates of OND, HND, BA/BSc. The locations were identified as Abia, Abuja, Adamawa, Akwa Ibom, Anambra, Bauchi, Bayelsa, Benue, Borno, Delta, Ebonyi, Edo, Ekiti, Cross River. Enugu, Gombe, Imo, Jigawa, Kaduna, Kano, Katsina, Kebbi, Kogi, Kwara, Lagos, Nassarawa, Niger, Ogun, Ondo, Osun, Oyo, Plateau, Rivers, Sokoto, Taraba, Yobe, and Zamfara. Applicants must apply online at www.fedcivilservice.gov.ng, according to the Commission. The applicants are also directed to receive FCSC forms from the chairmen of the geo-political zones of the State Civil Service Commissions: North-West Kaduna, North-East Yola, North-Central and FCT Mabushi Abuja, South-East Owerri, South-South Port Harcourt and South-West Ibadan.
The registration, according to NDE DP, is in accordance with the National Directorate of Employment’s (NDE) third mandate, which requires it to “obtain and maintain a data bank on employment and vacancies in the country with a view to acting as a clearinghouse to connect job seekers with vacancies in collaboration with other government agencies.”
