Naira Marley Bio – Naira Marley is a Nigerian singer and songwriter who was born Azeez Adeshina Fashola on May 10, 1991. He is the president of his polarizing fan base, the “Marlians.”

EFCC arrest:

Naira Marley Bio – The EFCC arrested Naira Marley, his friends Zlatan, Tiamiu Kayode, Adewunmi Moses, and Abubakar Musa on May 10, 2019. He was arrested just one day after releasing the video for his controversial single “Am I A Yahoo Guy.” The EFCC released Zlatan and three others five days later, but held Marley in detention due to overwhelming evidence against him. Flouting lockdown order:

He was arrested by the Nigerian Police Force for violating President Muhammadu Buhari’s lockdown order in Lagos State, which was imposed to stop the spread of the coronavirus in the region. Given the interstate travel ban and social distancing rules aimed at preventing the spread of COVID-19, he performed at a concert in Abuja on June 13, 2020.
