2021/2022 NAF Recruitment General Instructions
Recruiting for the National Air Force
Nigerians who are physically fit are eligible to join the Nigerian Airforce. They will not accept an applicant if they suspect that he or she has a disability. Join us as we investigate some additional broad instructions:

1. Nationality: Is it your intention to apply as a Nigerian citizen by birth? That is the most important criterion.

2. Age: Check if you are over the age restriction; it is mentioned that non-tradesmen/women must be between the ages of 18 and 22, and tradesmen/women must be between the ages of 18 and 25. Applicants for assistant chaplains/assistant imams, as well as drivers, must be between the ages of 18 and 28.

3. Marital Status: To succeed as a recruit in the Nigerian Airforce, you must have a focused mind rather than dividend attention, hence all applicants must be single.

4. Height: If you do not satisfy this condition, you will be disqualified; therefore, the minimum height for males is 1.66 meters (5.4 feet) and for ladies is 1.63 meters (5.3 feet).

5. Medical Fitness: All applicants must meet the Nigerian Airforce’s medical and employment standards. Only physically fit people are expected to apply.

The following are additional requirements:

  • All of your academic certificates must be presented.
  • All necessary documents, such as a birth certificate or a declaration of age, should have been received at least four years beforehand.
  • Some categories require educational/trade certificates.
  • A certificate of indigenous status from your home state is required to prove that you are a native of that state.
  • Local Government Area Form Attestation
  • Writing Materials for Acknowledgement Cards (for aptitude test)
  • Parent/Guardian Consent Form Attestation

Academic/Professional Requirements for NAF Recruitment:
1. Non-Tradesmen/Women: Do you want to apply as a Non-Tradesman or a Woman? Here are the educational criteria you must fulfill;

Applicants must have a minimum of 5 credits in SSCE/NECO/GCE/NABTEB, including Mathematics and English Language. Applicants must also have letters of recommendation from their schools.

2. Tradesmen/women: All interested Tradesmen/women applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:

a. Applicants must have an ND (Lower Credit), NABTEB, RN/RM/NCE, or City & Guild Certificate.

b. Candidates with merely a Trade Test Certificate (including drivers) must also have a minimum of two GCE/SSCE/NECO passes, one of which must be in the English Language.
