How to build a company account on Facebook

How to build a company account on Facebook – Create a Facebook Account

If you don’t have a Facebook account already, visit and build one on the Facebook homepage. You can build a personal account, but not both. If you only use your Facebook account for your company, set up your account as a business account, but be aware that business accounts have fewer features and choices than personal accounts.

You can set your account up as a personal account if you are ever using Facebook (except commercial promotion) for personal purposes or if you want full access to Facebook resources and information. You may also have the option to view and process your business page separately, known as the “profile” page in Facebook terms, from your personal page.

The accounts on Facebook are free, but note that you can have only one account. You would have to build your business page outside your account if you already have a Facebook page personally. You can deactivate or uninstall one, or both, if you build more than one account and Facebook catches you.

Create Your Basic Business Page on Facebook

There are two ways to create a page on Facebook and you both have to log in. Use the link “Advertising” on the side of the page to take you to a different page after logging into your personal profile page. This page helps you to create a page.

You can also access the Facebook page, select the type of page you want to create (i.e. the local enterprise, company, brand, etc), and choose additional options to help Facebook learn more about your business. You can then access the Facebook page. When you select the options to create a page sort, it is automatically created for you and redirected to the newly created page. Logging Into Your Business Page

After a business page has been developed, you can access it in the future, select “My account” from the menu down and select “Use Facebook as the Page,” by logging in to your main bank account. If you have more than one tab, the choices are shown—just click on the page you want to view. Although you may only have one account and a personal page on Facebook, you can have several accounts or other businesses.

Basic Settings for Facebook Business Page

A variety of choices appear at the top of your list, side, and the contents of your page when you are on your new page. The main part of your new page includes a lot of choices that should mostly be done after setting up your account. The following are options:

Add an Image

When you update your business page, this picture will appear next to your updates. Choose a logo (or a nice face that fits well on the web if you don’t have a logo). Leave this blank — a temporary image is better than getting one.

Invite Your Friends

You just need to do this after your page is customized – you want it to be used the best you can. When inviting friends, it is the aim to “like” your website to make its brand more strong. Facebook allows you to have a customized URL address for the business page for 25 users to “like” your homepage. You must use the default URL created for your page by Facebook until you have 25 fans. People named “Fans” like your page, and there are infinite numbers of fans on sites—only 5,000 “Friends” have personal profile pages.

You may also invite them to become fans on your new website if you have Facebook fans or subscribers already. Although you can invite fans, it is advisable to invite-only fans when your website has been fully created. They could get a bad first impression if you invite them to an ongoing page.

Post Status Updates

Use this option if you are ready to post advertisements and notifications. Again, before your new page announces, it is suggested that you begin to add status updates. At least a few updates are necessary before you announce it on your website so that visitors need to read and respond. It is important.

Promote Your Page on Your Website

This move is recommended only after your page is fully configured. This choice offers various codes that you can put on your website for people to “like” your website. You needn’t use this tool – you can also build your HTML and website hyperlinks, and there are several plugins available to connect your website with Facebook if you are using WordPress.

Set Up Your Mobile Phone

You can set the mobile phone so that pictures and notifications can be downloaded from your phone using this option. Whenever you want to access these options again, in the sidebar on your page, click the “Start” link (you must be logged into your account).

The Edit Page Button on Facebook Pages

In the top right-hand corner, when you create a Facebook page, an “Edit Page” button appears. Tap to get to the core of your page’s personalization. If you want to edit the tab, you see the menu changes on the sidebar of your page.

Your Settings

You can set preferences and email settings in this option. When you are logged in, uncheck the “Post Preferences” column, unless you want all your posts to appear on your business page automatically.

Manage Permissions

Allows you to choose who can post your comments, pictures, and links, and who can see your profile. You can also limit access for minors by setting restrictions.

Basic Information

You can pick a name for a business page once you have 25 fans. Include your website information, a brief overview, and a link to your website. The information that you added on your business page in the “About” field is shown so that it stays short.

Profile Picture

Another place where you can upload an image or logo that will be displayed (by default) next to all your updates and in the picture box on your corporate website. It won’t change the image on your profile page (if you are using a personal account.)

Featured

Facebook can not be used as an advertisement tool exclusively. The best-known Facebook users create engaging pages and create a sense of community. Share “Tools” with (promoting) featured Page owners and featured “Likes” to inspire others to visit your page. This will appear on your company website.

Marketing

Facebook provides the following tools for promoting your business page from this screen option: Facebook ads, Tell your backers, get a badge and position your website with a Like Box. The options listed above are identical or similar to those contained in the “Start.”

Manage Admins

This is where you grant other people administrative control and configure their access level. You must first “like” your page to grant someone an admin pass.

Using Apps to Customize Your Facebook Page

You have to use apps to create a tailor-made look for your Facebook profile. On Facebook, there are many programs that you can use, and others are more difficult to use. It helps you to know HTML programming and basic web design when you customize your Facebook profile.

Go to your Facebook page for open applications and pick “Edit Page” from the top right corner and press “Apps” from the left sidebar. A list of the most widely used regular applications on Facebook will be shown. Select the “Go to App” choice to access or use either of these applications.

Tap on the link below the default apps “Browse More Applications” to find more product choices. Skip the menu range and go straight into the “scan” box while looking for applications to customize the appearance of your Facebook profile. Great search terms like “custom,” “customize page” and “FBML” to find design apps.

Facebook Markup Language (FBML)

In apps that use all of the HTML code, the FBML is a code langue. Many, but not all, HTML codes are used for FBML. You can find apps to customize the look of your business page while searching for FBML apps.

The most commonly used customization software is possibly Static FBML. It needs an HTML understanding, but it is not difficult to use otherwise.

Build a search for your HTML page, copy the code into the application and enter a title. The title is automatedly applied to the left sidebar of your pages with a link to the subsite. You may, for instance, make an “About Us” page using Static FBML.
